Need to reboot a register?

On keyboard, press ALT+CTRL+P.
A prompt will appear for a login and password. This information is taped under the keyboard, not displayed here.
Enter them, then select shutdown>reboot.
It will take several minutes.
If a line has built up, maintain communication with customers. Tell them the truth, the register is down temporarily.
You can assist with bagging, run lottery while a co-worker rings up a non-lottery customer.
If it's slow, go find something to do.
You get the idea. A register being down does not mean break time.
